Diamond Polish Paste, Mint Flavor, 0.5 micron, Refill

Ultradent Diamond Polish is a mint-flavored, white paste grits 0.5µm. Both grits contain micro-fine diamond particles in a water-soluble gel. This product is used to polish ceramic or composite restorations.

Indications for Use:

Ultradent Diamond Polish may be used intra-orally or extra-orally for achieving a high porcelain luster.

How to Use

Polishing Ceramic

1. Contour and finish all surfaces of the restoration prior to polishing.
2. Remove Luer Lock cap from the syringe. Twist recommended tip securely onto the syringe.
3. Apply a small amount of diamond polish and polish with a Jiffy Goat Hair Brush. Rotate at low RPM’s for best results.
4. For final polishing, increase the speed of the handpiece and, if intraoral, use a heavy spray of water while polishing.
5. Cleanup: Use a firm air-water spray for the final rinse.

Polishing Composite

1. Contour and finish all surfaces of the restoration prior to polishing.
2. Apply a small amount of diamond polish and polish with a Jiffy Goat Hair Brush.
3. Rotate at low RPM’s for best results. For final polishing, increase the speed of the handpiece and, if intraoral, use a heavy spray of water while polishing.
4. Cleanup: Rinse and dry surface(s).

Storage and Disposal:

Dispose of waste according to local rules, guidelines, and regulations.

Warnings and Precautions:

• Avoid skin exposure, isolate strong chemicals to the area of treatment.
• To avoid cross-contamination, wipe the syringe with an intermediate-level disinfectant between uses and use a disposable barrier sleeve. If a barrier sleeve is not used, the syringe should be treated as single-use.
• Tips are single-use only.
• Keep products out of heat/sunlight.
• Verify flow prior to expressing intraorally. If resistance is met, replace the tip and re-check.
