AllCem A3, Resin Cement, Dual-Cure Syringe

Clinical Overview
AllCem A3 is a dual‑cure resin cement delivered via an automix double-body syringe (base + catalyst) designed for definitive cementation of indirect restorations and core build‑ups. This high‑viscosity dual-curing formula ensures complete polymerization—even in areas without light access—offering radiopacity, excellent adhesion across substrates, and reliable mechanical resistance.
Key Benefits
- Dual-curing capability: Achieves light-activated cure where accessible and chemical cure in deep or shaded areas, ensuring full polymerization.
- Consistent viscosity: Ready-to-use automix system provides precise application with balanced flow, ideal for posts, crowns, inlays/onlays, and core buildup.
- Radiopaque for safety: Easily visible on radiographs to detect excess in subgingival areas.
- Versatile substrate adhesion: Bonds reliably to enamel, dentin, ceramic, metal, composite, CAD/CAM, and posts.
- Multiple shade options: Available in A1, A2, A3 (current shade), and Translucent to match restoration needs.
- High mechanical strength: Excellent resistance to bending and compression, suitable for load-bearing applications.
Kit Contents
- 1 × 5 g double‑body automix syringe in shade A3
- 5 × self‑mixing applicator tips (nozzles)
Working & Setting Times
- Working time: Approximately 1 minute 30 seconds at room temperature after mixing begins.
- Light cure: 40 seconds per accessible surface to secure restoration positioning.
- Chemical cure: Final polymerization completes in about 10 minutes in areas not reached by light.
Indications
- Permanent cementation of indirect restorations: crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, overlays (ceramic, composite, metal-ceramic).
- Cementation of intraradicular posts (fiberglass, ceramic, metal).
- Adhesive core build‑ups in vital or non‑vital teeth, forming a single body with intraradicular post.
Instructions for Use
- Isolate operative field using relative or absolute isolation; prepare tooth and indirect restoration (adjust, etch/silane if ceramic).
- Select appropriate shade (A3 for current code); express cement onto mixing pad or use self-mixing tip.
- Mix for ~10 seconds either manually or via automix tip to ensure homogeneity and reduce bubbles.
- Apply cement inside restoration or canal; position restoration or post, allowing slight overflow for core build-up if indicated.
- Begin cleaning excess cement approximately 2 minutes after mixing; if early removal, light-cure margins to prevent oxygen-inhibited layer.
- Light-cure each accessible surface for ~40 s; allow chemical setting to finish over ~10 minutes in inaccessible zones.
- After full cure, remove excess cement with scalpel or finishing instruments; avoid rotary polishing until complete set.
- Advise patient not to bite on the restoration for at least 15 minutes post-procedure.
Summary
AllCem A3 Dual‑Cure Resin Cement (Code 19278) is a high‑strength, radiopaque automix cement system offering simplified dispensing and versatile application. Its dual-curing mechanism, adhesive reliability across substrates, and core build‑up capacity make it an efficient “3‑in‑1” solution for crowns, posts, inlays/onlays, and core restorations, with consistent mechanical performance.
