Working & Setting

Ultra‑Blend Plus is light‑activated on demand—clinician controls timing for optimal placement, manipulation, and curing post‑application.

Indications

• Direct and indirect pulp capping over small, non‑hyperemic exposures
• Protective base liner beneath restorative materials (composite, amalgam)
• Liner in deep cavity preparations to safeguard pulp tissue and support bonding protocols

Instructions for Use

1. Following cavity preparation, isolate with rubber dam and disinfect exposure sites using Consepsis™ (60 sec), then air-dry—do not rinse.
2. Apply MTAFlow™ if necessary for larger exposures; then apply Ultra‑Blend Plus using a Black Micro™ tip to dry dentin, covering exposure margins minimally.
3. Light-cure until fully set (per manufacturer’s light-curing protocol).
4. Continue with adhesive bonding (e.g. Ultra‑Etch™, Peak™ Universal Bond) and final restorative placement following standard protocol.
