SmartCord 0‑X is a knitted gingival retraction cord made of 100% natural cotton and pre‑impregnated with Aluminum Chloride Hexahydrate (ACH) at ~1.2 ± 0.8 mg per inch. It offers fine-tissue displacement and effective hemostasis without vasoconstrictors such as epinephrine, ensuring safe use in sensitive patients.

Indications

Instructions for Use

1. Clean and assess the gingival sulcus.
2. Measure required length using SmartRuler™; cut using the integrated EasyCut™ zirconia blade.
3. Gently pack cord into the sulcus using appropriate packing instrument — avoid excessive pressure.
4. Leave in place for ~1–2 minutes for effective tissue displacement and hemostasis.
5. Remove cord gently and rinse site thoroughly before impression or cementation.
