Clinical Overview

Primma Art is a self-curing bis‑acrylic composite designed for fabricating provisional restorations—crowns, bridges, onlays, inlays, veneers, and mock‑ups. Its balanced monomer formula delivers high mechanical strength, excellent shade fidelity to Vita Bleach, low exotherm for vital-teeth comfort, and a viscosity that ensures precise mold reproduction and easy removal during the elastic phase.

Key Benefits

  • High mechanical strength: Resists fracture and wear even in long-term provisional use.
  • Shade fidelity to Bleach (Vita scale): Predictable esthetics, minimized shade mismatch.
  • Low heat release: Improved patient comfort and safe for use on vital teeth.
  • Balanced rheology: Flows easily into mold details, and permits removal during elastic phase (~2–3 min).
  • Efficient mixing & waste reduction: Self‑mixing tips promote reliable homogeneity and reduce waste by up to 40%.
  • Shade-stabilizing formulation: Minimizes inhibited layer and maintains color stability over time.

Kit Contents

  • 1 × 75 g double-barrel cartridge in Bleach shade
  • 10 × disposable self-mixing tips included

Working & Setting Times

  • Working time: ~40 seconds from start of mix
  • Elastic phase removal: 2–3 minutes after start of mix
  • Full polymerization: Approximately 5 minutes

Times may vary slightly with ambient temperature and product age.

Indications

  • Provisional crowns, bridges, inlays/onlays, veneers, and mock-ups
  • Long‑term temporary restorations in vital and non‑vital teeth
  • Refilling of pre‑fabricated composite, polycarbonate or metal provisionals
  • Esthetic mock‑ups and surgical guides requiring accurate morphology and shade.

Instructions for Use

  1. Isolate and lubricate preparation with Vaseline or glycerin.
  2. Attach a self-mixing tip to the cartridge and dispense a small bead to ensure homogeneous mix.
  3. Fill mold starting from occlusal/incisal portion, then cervical area; avoid air bubbles by keeping the tip immersed.
  4. Seat mold on prepared tooth within ~40 seconds from start of mix; hold in position.
  5. Remove mold during elastic phase (~2–3 min after mixing).
  6. Allow full polymerization (~5 min), then clean with alcohol to eliminate inhibited resin layer.
  7. Finish provisional with fine diamond burs and polish using FGM Diamond or Felt disks and polishing paste.
  8. For provisional cementation, use a non‑eugenol temporary luting agent.

Summary

FGM Primma Art in Bleach shade (Ref. 55227) delivers a reliable, esthetic, and user‑friendly solution for provisional restorations. With consistent shade matching to Vita Bleach, strong fracture resistance, low heat evolution, and streamlined mixing/delivery, it ensures clinician confidence and patient comfort across short‑ and long‑term applications.
