Instructions for Use

1. Select a DermaDam sheet—dull side down. Punch holes corresponding to teeth to be isolated (spacing ~3–5 mm).
2. Seat the clamp onto the assisting tooth (e.g. molar) and stretch the dam over the clamp and adjacent teeth. Floss interproximal contacts as needed.
3. Invert the margins using a plastic or metal inversion instrument, warm water/air spray, or floss tie to seal securely along the sulcus.
4. Frame the dam with a rigid or U‑shaped rubber dam frame to maintain tension during treatment.
5. Proceed with restorative or surgical procedures in a dry field. Refresh isolation as required during multiple‑tooth access.
6. Upon completion, release tension (cut interseptal tabs or puncture between hump areas), remove the dam client‑side, then carefully disengage the clamp and frame.
7. Dispose of used dam sheets as clinical waste. Clean and sterilize re‑usable retainers and frames per infection‑control protocols.
