FGM's Whiteness Super-endo 37% CP is a carbamide peroxide-based intracoronal whitening gel designed specifically for the “walking bleach” technique in non-vital teeth. Its ready-to-use formulation and optimal consistency facilitate effective and controlled bleaching within the pulp chamber.

Indications

Application Protocol

1. Assessment: Confirm the adequacy of endodontic treatment clinically and radiographically. Record the initial shade of the tooth.
2. Access and Cleaning: Open the pulp chamber, remove all restorative materials, and clean the chamber thoroughly.
3. Cervical Sealing: Remove 3–4mm of root canal filling material and seal the cervical area with a suitable material (e.g., glass ionomer) to prevent peroxide leakage into the periodontal tissues.
4. Gel Application: Apply Whiteness Super-endo directly into the pulp chamber using the syringe tip.
5. Temporary Sealing: Place a cotton pellet over the gel and seal the access cavity with a temporary restorative material.
6. Evaluation: Reassess the tooth after 3–4 days. Repeat the application if necessary, up to a maximum of 8 times, depending on the desired whitening outcome.
7. Final Restoration: After achieving the desired shade, wait at least 7 days before placing the definitive restoration to ensure color stability.

Precautions

• Not recommended for patients with a history of internal or external resorption.
• Avoid use in teeth with incomplete root formation or periapical lesions.
• Ensure complete removal of restorative materials from the pulp chamber to allow effective gel action.
• Inform patients about the potential fragility of non-vital teeth undergoing bleaching and advise caution to prevent fractures.
