ViscoStat™ Clear is a transparent, viscous hemostatic gel containing 25 % aluminum chloride in a patented tissue‑kind silica vehicle. Designed especially for the esthetic zone, it rapidly controls minor bleeding and sulcular fluid without coagulum or residue, preserving enamel and soft-tissue aesthetics. Unlike ferric sulfate solutions, it does not interfere with bonding or impression materials.

Application Protocol & Timing

1. Attach a Metal or Blue Mini™ Dento‑Infusor™ tip to the syringe.
2. Rub gel firmly into the bleeding tissue or sulcus. Dwell time: 1–3 minutes based on severity.
3. Rinse with firm air/water spray to remove gel and any coagulum. Re-evaluate and repeat if needed.
4. For impression protocols, soak retraction cord in the gel, insert for ~4–5 min, rinse again, dry field, then proceed.

Instructions for Use

1. Ensure field is isolated and sufficiently dry.
2. Attach Dento‑Infusor™ scrub tip to syringe.
3. Rub gel into bleeding site or sulcus until hemostasis is achieved (usually seconds to minutes).
4. Rinse thoroughly; confirm absence of gel residue or bleeding.
5. If using retraction cord: soak cord in gel, place for ~4–5 minutes, rinse, dry, then proceed with impression or bonding workflow.
6. Repeat application if bleeding reoccurs before completing procedure.
7. Dispose of scrub tip after use per infection-control protocols.
