Clinical Overview

ViscoStat™ Clear is a transparent, viscous hemostatic gel containing 25 % aluminum chloride, specially formulated for anterior (esthetic zone) applications. Its patented tissue‑kind silica carrier enables rapid control of minor bleeding and sulcular fluid without forming coagulum or leaving residue, ensuring stain‑free hard and soft tissues. Unlike ferric sulfate solutions, it is bonding‑compatible and won’t impair adhesive performance.

Kit Contents

Application Protocol & Timing

1. Attach a Metal Dento‑Infusor™ tip firmly to the IndiSpense® syringe.
2. Apply ViscoStat™ Clear by rubbing the gel directly into the bleeding tissue or sulcus.
3. Allow 1–3 minutes of contact, depending on bleeding severity.
4. Use firm air/water spray to rinse and remove gel and any coagulum. Re‑evaluate and repeat if bleeding persists.
5. Upon achieving hemostasis, place retraction cord (soaked in gel if desired), wait briefly, rinse again, then dry for impression or bonding.

Indications

• Sulcus retraction and minor bleeding control prior to impression-making
• Esthetic anterior restorations where residue or staining must be avoided
• Soft tissue management around subgingival margins during operative and restorative procedures

Instructions for Use

1. Ensure operative field is isolated and sufficiently dry.
2. Load gel into working tip or attach Dento‑Infusor™ tip to the IndiSpense® syringe.
3. Rub the gel into bleeding tissue or sulcus until bleeding stops (typically seconds to minutes).
4. Rinse thoroughly with air/water spray; confirm hemostasis and absence of residue.
5. Use soaked cord if needed, leave 1–3 minutes, then rinse again and dry.
6. Proceed with bonding, impression, or restorative workflow on a clean, dry field.
