Clinical Overview

UltraEZ™ is a sustained‑release desensitizing gel containing 3 % potassium nitrate and 0.25 % neutral sodium fluoride. This high-viscosity formula clings to tooth surfaces to deliver rapid relief from sensitivity caused by tooth whitening, root exposure, toothbrush abrasion, thermal and chemical changes. Available in syringe format for targeted application via custom trays.

Key Benefits

  • Dual‑action formula: Potassium nitrate depolarizes nerve endings; fluoride helps occlude dentinal tubules for enduring relief.
  • Immediate and sustained relief: Sticky gel adheres to surfaces, maintaining contact even after application.
  • Clinician‑delivered via syringe: Enables precise application to custom trays or specific sensitive areas.
  • Safe and inclusive: Vegan, gluten‑free, certified kosher; free from harsh preservatives.
  • Versatile use: Effective before or after whitening, even in non‑whitening sensitivity scenarios (e.g. root exposure, abrasion).

Kit Contents

  • 1 × 1.2 mL syringe of UltraEZ™ gel (3 % potassium nitrate / 0.25 % NaF)
  • 2 × disposable application tips
  • User instructions leaflet

Instructions for Use & Application Time

  • Loading: Dispense gel into custom tray covering most of one arch or localized sensitive areas.
  • Application duration: Wear tray for 15‑60 minutes daily, as directed. Effective first use often within first application.
  • Removal: After use, rinse tray and teeth thoroughly; avoid ingestion of gel.

Indications

  • Immediate relief from sensitivity induced by tooth whitening procedures (pre‑ or post‑treatment)
  • Desensitization for exposed root surfaces or dentin following periodontal therapy or abrasion
  • Management of thermal or chemical sensitivity unrelated to whitening

Instructions for Use

  1. Brush and floss thoroughly before treatment to ensure clean tooth surfaces.
  2. Attach included tip and fill tray or target area with gel (not to overflow margins).
  3. Insert tray gently and ensure contact; remove excess gel with finger or brush.
  4. Wear for prescribed duration (typically 15–60 minutes).
  5. Remove tray, rinse both mouth and tray thoroughly.
  6. Dry mouth and teeth; do not swallow gel.
  7. Use once daily, or as recommended by clinician; do not use overnight.

Summary

UltraEZ™ Desensitizing Gel (Ref. 1007‑1, 1.2 mL syringe) delivers rapid, dual-action relief via sustained-release potassium nitrate and fluoride. Its viscous, tray‑compatible formula adheres well to tooth structures, making it effective for both whitening‑related and general dentin hypersensitivity. This clinician‑administered system provides predictable outcomes in sensitivity control with safe, inclusive chemistry.
