UltraCal XS is an aqueous, premixed calcium hydroxide paste (30–35%, pH approx. 12.5) with radiopaque barium sulfate—designed as a professional endodontic inter‑appointment medicament delivered via 1.2 mL syringes. Its high-viscosity, flowable consistency allows controlled placement in root canals using 29 ga NaviTip™ Single Sideport™ tips, while minimizing risk of extrusion or dehydration. Indications

• Temporary intracanal medicament between visits (interappointment dressing)

Instructions for Use

1. Complete biomechanical preparation and irrigation, confirm canal patency and dry lightly.
2. Select 29 ga NaviTip™ Single Sideport delivery tip; attach securely to syringe.
3. Insert tip to within 3–4 mm of the apex; verify stopper position—and confirm flow prior to full seating.
4. Express UltraCal XS paste gently, stopping when visible at orifice; condense with a sterile plugger if needed.
5. Take a periapical radiograph to ensure appropriate fill and no over‑extension.
6. Place cotton pellet and seal access with a temporary restorative material.
7. At subsequent visit, remove the dressing using Ultradent Citric Acid 20% and NaviTip™ FX tip, followed by irrigation and drying.
