Product Overview

EdgeOne Fire™ uses heat-treated FireWire™ NiTi material designed for inverse-reciprocating motion. It is compatible with most standard motors and handpieces from major brands (e.g. WaveOne® Gold, VDW®, BA optima E, etc.).

Available in Small (20), Primary (25), Medium (35), and Large (45) tip sizes, with lengths of 21mm, 25mm, and 31mm. Each pack contains three files. Also available in assorted packs or single-size options.

Recommended Settings

• Torque: 4.0 – 5.2 N/cm (408 – 530 g/cm)
• Motion: Reverse reciprocating, 30° clockwise / 150° counterclockwise

Simplified Technique Guide

1. Create straight-line access to canal orifices.
2. Locate canals and explore using stainless steel hand instruments. Establish working length with a #15 K-File or use a #10 K-File with EdgeOne Fire GlidePath reciprocating file.
3. Irrigate the canal before each hand or rotary file use.
4. Begin shaping with the Primary file (#25 Red). Progress passively in 2–3mm increments. Use shorter passes in complex canals. Apply brushing motion for coronal flaring if needed.
5. In more restrictive canals, start with the Small file (#20 Yellow) and follow the same procedure. Once working length is achieved, return to the Primary file (#25 Red).
6. If the Primary file reaches working length easily or if further apical shaping is desired, continue with Medium (#35 Green) or Large (#45 White) files.
