Edge C-File™ is made from stainless steel and features a square cross-section. Available in sizes 6, 8, and 10 and lengths 21mm, 25mm, and 31mm. Each pack contains 6 files.

Directions for Use

Use Edge Stainless Steel K-Files, NiTi K-Files, Edge C-File™, or Edge H-File™ to form the initial GlidePath before using EdgeEndo® NiTi rotary or reciprocating files.

Indications for Use

Designed for Dentists only, these instruments are used to create the initial GlidePath in the root canal preparation process.

Contraindications

None known.

Warnings

• Use a rubber dam system before starting the procedure.
• All instruments are intended for single use only to prevent file separation.

Precautions

• Exercise caution in canals with merging, dividing paths, or curvatures.
• Always wear protective gear: gloves, eyewear, mask, etc.
• Use recommended lubricants such as Edgelube™ and EdgeGel™ when using hand instruments.
• Begin the procedure with a #10 hand file to determine working length and establish initial GlidePath.

Additional Precautions

• Clean flutes frequently.
• Inspect for any signs of distortion or wear during use.
