Clinical Overview

Ambar Bond APS is a two‑step (5th‑generation) light‑curing adhesive combining primer and bonding resin in one bottle. Powered by FGM’s APS (Advanced Polymerization System), it delivers consistent polymerization even on moist dentin—ideal for subgingival restorations or lower posterior teeth with challenging moisture control.

Working & Setting Times

• Wet-fidelity protocol: Etch enamel (~15–30 s) and dentin (~15 s), rinse and leave dentin visibly moist—not desiccated.
• Adhesive application: Rub first drop for ~10 seconds, then apply second layer and rub for another ~10 seconds.
• Air-thinning: Air‑blow for ~10 seconds to evaporate solvents and produce a thin adhesive film.
• Light curing: Cure each surface for ~10 seconds; extend to ~20 seconds for deep or intracanal areas.

Indications

• Direct composite restorations (Class I–V) on enamel and dentin
• Adhesive cementation of indirect restorations—crowns, veneers, posts, inlays/onlays
• Repairs on composite or ceramic surfaces, bonding to metals or CAD/CAM substrates
• Ideal for moist or subgingival fields where moisture control is difficult

Instructions for Use

1. Etch enamel (≈15–30 s) and dentin (≈15 s) with 37% phosphoric acid. Rinse thoroughly and maintain visible dentin moisture.
2. Apply first drop of adhesive and rub for ~10 seconds; repeat with second drop on same surface and rub for another ~10 seconds.
3. Air‑thin adhesive for ~10 seconds to form a consistent, thin film.
4. Light‑cure for ~10 seconds per surface; if performing intracanal bonding, cure for ~20 seconds.
5. Proceed with composite buildup or resin cementation following standard protocol.
