Clinical Overview

UltraTemp™ Regular is a non‑eugenol, polycarboxylate-based temporary luting and filling cement designed for interim cementation of crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, and small fillings. Its hydrophilic chemistry ensures low irritation to pulp and provides a reliable, quality seal. It stays water‑soluble until set, allowing easy cleanup prior to polymerization—and remains stable under masticatory forces while enabling predictable removal at the appropriate time.

Working & Setting Times

• Working time: Approximately 45 seconds post-dispense.
• Intra‑oral set: 2 to 3 minutes under typical conditions.

Indications

• Interim cementation of provisional crowns, bridges, inlays/onlays
• Temporary sealing of access openings in walking‑bleach cases
• Short‑term restoration or temporary fillings for 1–2 weeks
• Situations where resin bonding compatibility is essential

Instructions for Use

1. Isolate the prep and ensure the restoration and prep are clean and dry.
2. Attach one of the mixing tips to the dual‑barrel syringe.
3. Express cement directly into the restoration or onto the prep, seating it fully.
4. Wipe away excess material with moist cotton or gauze before initial set (≈2 min).
5. After intra‑oral set (2–3 min), remove any subgingival cement with a blunt explorer.
6. Upon removal of the provisional, residual cement often flakes off—evidence of a cohesive-quality seal.
7. Use Consepsis™ Scrub or STARbrush™ with a rubber cup for final cleanup if needed.
