The broad, natural archform is the preferred shape for most clinical applications. TruFlex Thermal NiTi is provided in the martensitic or soft and pliable state and becomes super elastic once it reaches the transformation temperature of 90°F/32°C and becomes activated or austenitic. TruFlex Thermal provides gentle, lower force levels and a smooth, bright finish. The extreme pliability of Truflex Thermal wires offers easy ligation and therefore larger size wires can be introduced at earlier phases in treatment without compromising patient comfort.
