Sable Seek™ Refill delivers a green‑dye caries detection gel in prefilled syringe format (4 × 1.2 mL) using FD&C dyes in a glycol base. It precisely stains demineralized dentin in areas with limited visibility—such as under overhanging enamel or along the dentino‑enamel junction—helping avoid pulp exposure while guiding conservative excavation.

Working & Handling Guidelines

• Ready‑to‑use gel: Dispense directly from syringe using brush tip—no mixing required.

• Precision application: Use Black Mini™ brush tip for controlled delivery in tight areas and near pulp.

• Exceptional visibility: Green dye stands out against deep or dark dentin for accurate detection.

Indications

• Detection of demineralized dentin during Class I–III cavity preparation, especially under overhangs or along the DE junction.

• Caries management near pulp—enables conservative removal while minimizing exposure risk.

• Localization of calcified canal orifices during endodontic access in deep tissue.

Instructions for Use

1. Prepare cavity and remove gross caries until remaining dentin is firm. Keep the lesion moist.

2. Remove cap from syringe and attach an Ultradent Black Mini™ brush tip.

3. Apply a small amount of Sable Seek™ gel to walls or floor of the lesion or access site.

4. Allow to sit ~10 sec, then rinse and suction—the stained areas reveal demineralized tissue.

5. Excavate stained dentin carefully; repeat application until staining is absent.

6. Discard brush tip after use to prevent cross-contamination and staining.
