Sable Seek™ is a glycol‑based caries detection stain containing FD&C green dyes specifically formulated to highlight demineralized dentin during operative and endodontic procedures. It provides precise, mess‑free delivery in syringe format and offers excellent contrast in deep caries near the pulp or along DEJ to aid visual excavation control and avoid pulp exposure.

Working & Handling Guidelines

• Ready-to-use gel: No mixing required—dispense directly from syringe to lesion area using brush tip.
• Highly visible even on dark dentin: The green dye enhances visibility against deep lesions or near pulp.
• Precise placement: Brush tip delivers indicator only where needed—avoids spreading or pooling.

Indications

• Detection of demineralized dentin in deep carious lesions (Class I–III) and along DE junctions.
• Operative guidance to avoid pulp exposure in deep excavation cases.
• Visualization of calcified root canal orifices in endodontic access procedures.

Instructions for Use

1. Prepare cavity and remove gross caries until hard dentin. Keep lesion moist.
2. Remove syringe cap and attach a Black Mini™ brush tip.
3. Apply a small amount of Sable Seek™ to the floor or walls of the lesion or access site.
4. Rinse and suction to reveal stained areas indicating demineralized dentin.
5. Excavate stained dentin carefully, preserving sound tissue.
6. Reapply as needed to confirm complete removal of caries before bonding.
7. Discard brush tip after use to avoid contamination.
