Opallis Flow Composite A3, Syringe

Clinical Overview
Opallis Flow A3 is a 2 g syringe of low‑viscosity, radiopaque flowable micro‑hybrid composite by FGM, designed for minimally invasive restorations and base layering. With 72 wt% inorganic fillers, it combines easy flow with strong mechanical resistance and excellent adaptation to cavity walls. Available in VITA shade A3, it integrates seamlessly with conventional composites.
Key Benefits
- High filler load (72 wt%): Offers strong mechanical strength with minimal polymerization shrinkage.
- Low viscosity, high adaptation: Flows into rough or intricate preparation walls, reducing risk of microleakage.
- Precise handling: Stable when pressure ceases—sticks without slumping.
- Versatile use: Effective as base/liner, in tunnel preparations, enamel repair, NCCL restorations, and fragment bonding.
- Radiopaque and light‑curable: Compatible with all composite layering protocols.
Kit Contents
- 1 × 2 g syringe of Opallis Flow composite in shade A3
- 5 × applicator tips for precise placement
Working & Setting Times
- Handling: Easy flow-on application; self‑stabilizing once pressure stops.
- Curing: Apply in ≤ 2 mm increments; light‑cure each for ~40 seconds using a curing light of ≥450 mW/cm².
Indications
- Minimally invasive Class I restorations with limited occlusal stress
- Pit-and-fissure sealants and tunnel cavity preparations
- Repair of enamel defects and non‑carious cervical lesions
- Bonding of dental fragments or composite repairs
- Liner/base layer beneath conventional composite restorations.
Instructions for Use
- Perform prophylaxis and shade selection with hydrated tooth surface.
- Isolate field (preferably with rubber dam); prepare cavity with adhesive protocol.
- Apply Opallis Flow A3 directly into cavity using applicator tip; use ≤ 2 mm layering.
- Light‑cure each layer for approximately 40 seconds using LED curing light ≥450 mW/cm².
- After layering, check occlusal contacts, then finish and polish using fine polishing disks (e.g., Diamond Pro) and polish pastes (e.g., Diamond Excel or Diamond Flex).
Summary
The Opallis Flow Composite A3 syringe (Code 19376) delivers a high‑filler, flowable micro‑hybrid composite ideal for minimally invasive restorations, glass-like polish, and efficient layering protocols. Its excellent cavity adaptation, mechanical strength, and versatile application make it an excellent base or standalone material for Class I restorations and enamel repairs.
