Opallis Composite Intro Kit

Clinical Overview
Opallis is a radiopaque nano‑hybrid composite containing Schott glass fillers (~0.5 µm particles), offering excellent polishability, mechanical resilience, and optical properties (opalescence/fluorescence) akin to natural dentition. Designed for both anterior and posterior restorations with wide shade flexibility using German‑grade glass technology.
Key Benefits
- High polish retention: Reduced surface roughness and wear preserve aesthetic shine over time.
- Strong mechanical performance: Durable across Class I–V restorations in both anterior and posterior regions.
- Natural optical match: Fluorescent and opalescent materials model enamel and dentin light behavior.
- Easy sculpting: Flow-consistent viscosity supports precise handling and layering.
- Comprehensive shade availability: Intro kit includes key dentin/enamel shades for common restorations (EA2, EA3, DA2, DA3).
- Simplified protocol: Includes both etch and adhesive for single‑session restorations.
Kit Contents
- 4 × Opallis composite syringes (4 g each): EA2, EA3, DA2, DA3
- 1 × Condac 37% phosphoric acid etchant (2.5 mL)
- 1 × Ambar universal adhesive (4 mL)
- User instructions leaflet
Working & Setting Times
- Handling: Opallis viscosity designed for sculpting without slumping; lighting environment has minimal impact on working time.
- Curing: Light‑curable per standard polymerization protocols; layering recommended <1.5 mm for optimal crosslinking.
Indications
- Direct restorations: Class I–V in anterior and posterior teeth
- Direct resin veneers and aesthetic contouring
- Repair of tooth fragments and closing diastemas
- Core build‑ups and non-carious cervical lesions
- Fragment bonding and direct inlay/onlay repairs
Instructions for Use
- Isolate and clean the tooth; etch enamel and dentin with Condac 37% for 15 s, rinse and air-dry.
- Apply Ambar adhesive (self-etch or total-etch protocol); gently dry and light-cure per product instructions.
- Layer composite using selected shades (e.g., DA2 for dentin, EA2/EA3 for enamel); sculpt as needed.
- Polymerize each ≤1.5 mm increment with appropriate LED curing light.
- Finish and polish using fine burs or disks (suggest Diamond Pro/Excel systems) for high gloss and surface integrity.
- Verify occlusion and make adjustments as required.
