Directions for Use

For current users of Brasseler Sequence®, ESX®, Tulsa Dental Vortex®, Vortex Blue®, Kerr TF Adaptive, or K3 systems: continue using your existing technique, speed, and torque settings.

Suggested Technique

1. Take a #10 hand file to full working length.
2. Use EdgeGlidePath™ to working length. Evaluate resistance level:
   • Tight resistance → Small Canal
   • Medium resistance → Medium Canal
   • Light resistance → Large Canal
3. Small Canal: Use sequence 25/04 → 20/04 (repeat until desired size reaches working length)
4. Medium Canal: Use 35/04 → 30/04 sequence
5. Large Canal: Use 45/04 → 40/04 sequence

Motor Settings

• EdgeGlidePath™: RPM 300–500, Torque 320 g-cm
• EdgeSequel Sapphire™: RPM 500, Torque 410 g-cm (All Files)

Irrigation & Canal Disinfecting

• Use EdgeLube™ 17% Liquid EDTA during all hand and rotary procedures
• Rinse 1 min with EDTA to remove smear layer
• Rinse 5–10 min with full-strength NaOCl
• Rinse 1 min with EDTA to flush NaOCl
• Final rinse 5–10 min with Chlorhexidine

Canal Obturation

Complete obturation using your preferred sealer and .04 or .06 gutta percha points, or opt for EdgeSeal™ and Edge Gutta Percha™ points for best compatibility.
