Clinical Overview

Condac 37 is an aqueous-based gel containing 37% phosphoric acid, developed to etch enamel and dentin effectively. Its low-viscosity, thixotropic formulation with a blue pigment ensures controlled placement and excellent visibility. Water-soluble properties permit quick and complete removal without residue.

• 3 × 2.5 mL syringes of 37% phosphoric acid gel
• 3 × disposable applicator tips

Working & Setting Times

• Etching: Apply gel to enamel for approximately 30 seconds, dentin for 15 seconds.
• Removal: Rinse thoroughly with water and dry carefully to avoid dentin dehydration.

• Acid etching of enamel and dentin prior to bonding of resin-based restorative materials.
• Preparation of tooth surface to enhance adhesion and hybrid layer formation.

Instructions for Use

1. Clean and dry the tooth surface thoroughly prior to etchant application.
2. Deliver gel precisely to enamel or dentin area using applicator tip.
3. Allow etching for ~30 seconds on enamel; ~15 seconds on dentin.
4. Rinse abundantly with water for at least 10 seconds to ensure complete removal.
5. Air-dry the surface—avoid over-drying dentin.
6. Proceed with bonding protocol as per adhesive/resin system instructions.
