ConvaTec SUR-FIT Plus drainable ileostomy pouch with an open-end design for efficient emptying without removing the entire pouch. It connects to a compatible baseplate using a double-lock coupling ring. A one-way valve helps reduce backflow toward the stoma and supports peristomal skin hygiene. Directions for use
- Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.
- Select the appropriate pouch size.
- Remove a pouch from the package.
- Attach the pouch to the baseplate using the coupling ring.
- Ensure the connection is secure.
- Use as needed.
- To empty, hold the pouch securely and open the designated closure, then reseal.
- Dispose of the pouch appropriately when replacing.
Care
- Clean the baseplate regularly with soap and water.
- Change the pouch every 24 hours or as needed.
- Dispose of used pouches according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
