Maxxion R is a self‑curing, fluoride‑releasing glass ionomer cement formulated for restorative use in both primary and permanent teeth. Kit Contents

• 10 g bottle cement powder (Shade A3)
• 8 g bottle polyacrylic acid liquid
• 1 powder scoop

Working & Setting Times

• Mixing ratio: 1 shallow scoop powder : 1 drop liquid (after vigorous shaking).
• Mixing: Gradually combine half powder, then remaining to achieve homogenous, glossy paste.
• Setting time: 4–6 minutes at ambient temperature; restoration sets while still glossy.
• Note: Best finish and polish results occur 24 h post-insertion.

• Class I–V restorations in deciduous teeth
• Provisional restorations in permanent teeth (long-term interim)

Instructions for Use

1. Remove carious dentin only; no need for mechanical retention.
2. Shake powder and liquid bottles well. Condition cavity with polyacrylic acid (liquid) for 10 s; rinse and gently dry to avoid dehydration.
3. Measure 1 shallow scoop powder to 1 drop liquid onto mixing pad.
4. Mix: first half powder with liquid, then add remainder gradually until smooth and shiny.
5. Apply immediately into cavity; seat while glossy.
6. Allow to set (≈4–6 min), then remove excess with probe or scaler.
7. Finish and polish after 24 h using diamonds or rubber polishing points for best surface smoothness.
