This cuff is the component placed around the arm for mercury sphygmomanometers. It is made from elastic fabric covered with an adhesive layer and includes an air tube for inflation to facilitate blood pressure measurement.
Components

Function

How to Use
To measure blood pressure with a mercury sphygmomanometer, follow these steps:
- Clean and dry the arm.
- Place the cuff around the arm so the upper part is at heart level.
- Secure the cuff firmly using the attached straps.
- Press the start button on the blood pressure device.
- The device will inflate the cuff until a steady pressure is felt.
- It will stop inflating and display the blood pressure reading.
Safety Precautions
- Do not use the cuff if there is sensitivity to rubber or adhesive.
- Do not use on swollen or inflamed skin.
- Do not use longer than the time recommended by the physician.
- If pain or discomfort occurs while wearing the cuff, remove it immediately.
